MORE NABBA NEWS-ISH! The NBC has heard that some of the nicer NABBA judges are apposing the possible changes to Physique/fitness categories – good on ya lads. Hmnnn, could it be that they don’t want it abolishing? Yep I think so too. Could it be that Jim Charles, ALLEGEDLY, wants physique out and fitness in because he has always made it plain that he does not like the ladies physique look! We say, why be a judge? That’s life Jim, but not as you would know it. Tough shit mate. Could it also be that he is the one that is allegedly putting up the money for the fitness classes? If so, does it take a calculator to reckon up his idea – we think not. Oh, by the way, why are there only men on the committee? Why not a few women eh guys?

ANOTHER POINT We thought that the only way to get NABBA Universe was through a placing at the Britain or the previous years Universe – BUT it seems that if you are a figure girl, then all you have to do, apparently, is seem to be in shape to be invited. Pauline Oliver was seen to be in good shape at the England but missed her class and so could not compete. How come then she is in the universe 1995 after not even competing or qualifying in any shows previous to the Universe? Does this also mean the Mr Charles favours the Figure also – er, we think so.

UNIVERSE DECISIONS The 1995 NABBA Universe was held at ICC at Birmingham and strange as it may seem for me to say, it was quite well run. Congrats to NABBA for that. Mike King won class 4, well-done mate, Micky Wright said you would do it. We hope to interview Mike in the New Year. I thought that the problems started in the Ladies Figure. Heidi Thomas, in bloody great shape, placed sixth. I thought that she should have won this or at the very least second! The crowd made their presence known when she was called out and even more so after the decision with stunned silence and basically, well pissed off! Pauline Oliver, 5th, this was a bad decision also. We heard that the judges thought she had too much muscle…hmnnn, here we go again. Remember in the Britain, Alda Cook, figure? Well she was more muscular than Pauline in the same show but SHE won. I wonder… We are not quite sure if she gave back the trophy after going off stage, if she did, then well done Pauline. At least she did it out of camera – well done lass! My honest opinion – good show.

WELL DONE MATE! Congratulations to one of our readers, a Mr. David Waters of Sheringham, Norfolk, who placed third in the Daily Star UK Strongman Tournament Final recently in Blackpool. Well done mate. I wonder if they sponsored the event then expected to got a steroid scare story out of it after the event…hmnnn, I wonder. HATE MICK CLUB Apparently there is a guy down south who is 100% anti- Mick Hart, anti0gear, anti-training systems, anti-everything. Dunno really apart from someone telling me the other day. Let me tell you this, who gives a simple fuck about someone who has not got the balls to get off his arse and work hard for a living!
